FAQ

Can a foundation wall be repaired from the interior only?

In some cases, yes. Certain foundation wall problems can be repaired from inside the basement using reinforcement or bracing systems, but an interior-only solution is not appropriate for every condition.

The right repair depends on the cause and severity of the wall movement, the condition of the foundation, available access, soil and water pressure, and whether the wall needs stabilization, reinforcement, anchors, excavation, drainage improvements, or a combination of methods.

NK Construction & Design evaluates the wall and the surrounding conditions before recommending the repair approach. If an interior-only solution is appropriate, it can often reduce the amount of exterior disturbance. If exterior work is necessary to address the underlying condition properly, that becomes part of the repair scope.
