FAQ
What's the difference between structural repair and structural support installation?
Structural repair focuses on correcting an existing problem, such as damaged or deteriorated framing, corroded columns, rotted joists, cracked foundation components, or other structural conditions that need to be repaired or replaced.
Structural support installation usually involves adding or modifying structural capacity. Examples include installing a beam after removing a load-bearing wall, adding a column to support a concentrated load, reinforcing floor framing, or sistering joists where additional capacity or stiffness is required.
Many projects involve both. NK Construction & Design can repair damaged structural components and install the new supports required by the existing building or the planned renovation.
