Design meets construction

From kitchen design to a finished room

FORM Kitchens contributed the cabinetry and kitchen plan. NK Construction & Design handled the construction and installation work that carried those decisions into a finished room.

This page reflects a previous FORM Kitchens collaboration. Current FORM availability through NK is not implied.

FORM shaped the kitchen plan

The collaboration paired kitchen layout, cabinetry, design visuals, samples, and material choices with the way the homeowner wanted the room to work.

NK carried the work into the home

A kitchen plan still has to fit an existing room and move through construction in the right order. NK handled the construction and installation work associated with the project.

Kitchen planning

A kitchen designed around how you live

The design side of the collaboration centered on choices that shape everyday use: the character of the cabinetry, the flow of the layout, how storage is organized, and the confidence that comes from seeing decisions before the room is built.

Cabinetry and finishes

Colors, handles, door-panel styles, and cabinetry details gave homeowners a way to establish the kitchen's character.

Layout and flow

Modular arrangements were planned around kitchens of different sizes and the way the room needed to function.

Storage that works harder

Storage systems and drawer inserts were part of the planning conversation, not an afterthought.

See the decisions take shape

The program described one-to-one design support, photorealistic visuals, and full-sized samples for material decisions.

A Philadelphia project

When the design became a Philadelphia kitchen

A published NK project identifies FORM Kitchens as a collaborator. The finished room opens the kitchen to the surrounding living areas, pairing warm custom cabinetry and white stone counters with checkerboard tile, a gas range, pendant lighting, and natural light.
